Getting Up Earlier Can Cure Insomnia

If you haven't slept well due to insomnia then the last thing you'll feel like doing is getting up early. If you have the opportunity then you might want to sleep in. However this is probably the worst thing you could do. That little bit of extra sleep in the morning could lead to insomnia again the next night. If you resist the urge for that extra sleep in the morning then you might find you sleep well the next night and your insomina is cured.

Your internal body clock works on routine. It tells you when you are tired and if you listen to it you'll probably find yourself going to bed at the same time each night. Unfortunately it doesn't always work on time and instead of falling asleep quickly you find yourself with insomnia. A method of treating this naturally is to adjust the amount of time you sleep. If you get up earlier, you'll force your internal body clock to change and if you are suffering from insomnia then this can be a simple, natural cure that works.

Sleep pays a crucial role in how we feel. If you lose a couple of hours or so of sleep you might find that you'll have a difficult day, feeling constantly tired. Then to combat this you might go to bed earlier but instead of falling asleep you find yourself tossing and turning, unable to get any rest and loosing sleep once again. You then sleep in a little to get some extra sleep and the cycle repeats itself night after night.

Instead of turning to medication to treat insomnia there is a natural cure available. Getting out of bed earlier is that cure. Even as little as 15 minutes earlier can make a difference. It's not easy to get out of bed when you are tired but it will be worth it in th long run. Force yourself to get up earlier and you'll thank yourself that evening when you fall asleep quickly. You might even want to take that extra time to do some exercises which can help treat insomnia as well. At the end of the day you'll feel tired enough that you'll sleep much easier, you might even find that you wake up less often or not at all during the night.

If you continue with this routine over a number of days or a week then you'll find that your body clock adjusts to this new sleep time and before you know it your insomnia will be cured.
